Definitions
OBSOLETE. A cellular process phenotype in which plasma membrane fusion involved in cytogamy is decreased. This term was previously used to indicate defects in cell fusion that led to lower frequencies of cell fusion in mating pairs (cells that have touched each other with shmoo) than in wild-type, where it is essentially 100%. Since cell fusion is a yes / no phenotype, and wild-type is 100%, these annotations can be moved to abolished cell fusion with a certain penetrance.
